Life Science and Pharma

About industry

The life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry has always been rich in innovation and regulation - a delicate equilibrium of private interest for profit and public interest for effective and affordable products.

We provide legal support at all stages of pharmaceutical products life cycle, ensuring smooth introduction of the product into the Ukrainian market, effective defense of the product against attacks or unfair competition by the competitors, and extension of the product's legal protection for as long as the law allows. We represent our clients before the courts, government bodies, law enforcement agencies, competitors, and other market players. We participate in drafting laws and regulations defining the industry's future.

Our experience enables us to offer the most effective solutions to the clients. Patent prosecution and patent litigation are the ones used most often, and our team members participated in some of the highest-profile patent cases in Ukraine. Frequently, the clients are best served via smart use of IP rights to trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, or via means offered by other areas of law, such as competition law or criminal law. Public and government relations are also essential elements of any legal strategy in the industry. Thus, any solution we offer is comprehensive and tailored to a specific situation.

It is the lone worker who makes the first advance in a subject: the details may be worked out by a team, but the prime idea is due to the enterprise, thought, and perception of an individual
