Oksana Padokh specializes in Intellectual Property litigation with a focus on patents, designs and trademarks, as well as advises clients on copyright, IP due diligence and IP portfolio management.

Oksana has also considerable experience in development and implementation of strategies of IPR protection and enforcement abroad, IP transactions and defamation cases.

Oksana is a frequent speaker at workshops and seminars on IT and copyright protection, trademark registration under both national and international procedures, designs protection, including for Students League of the Ukrainian Bar Association, Legal High School and Online Law School. Oksana also holds workshops, seminars, and participates in Forums, Conferences, Hackathons.

Oksana is a member of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA). As an attorney-at-law, Oksana participates in bar self-government bodies and is a member of the Bar Council of Kyiv Region.

Oksana Padokh was actively involved in a variety of complex IP projects, such as:

● Participated in a working team on the development of IP protection chapter to the Strategy for Innovative Development of Ukraine "UKRAINIAN GLOBAL INNOVATION VISION 2030", initiated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

● Advised on pro bono basis a non-profit organization dedicated to the mental rehabilitation of children who have faced the horrors of war on IP rights acquisition, transfer and protection as well as on personal data protection.

● Represented a luxury beauty brand in the pre-trial dispute resolution in a conflict as to illegal use of client’s trademark and advised on possible counter actions by the opponent with arguments and strategies of further options.

● Developing for a popular supplier of consumer goods (FMCG) a profound strategy for overcoming four provisional refusals in trademark registrations based on identical trademark with conducting in-depth investigation of the opponent’s trademark with further successful representation of the client in non-use cancellation court proceeding.

● Advised a Ukrainian defense tech startup on acquisition, protection and structuring of IP rights on a universal communication system for use in civil and emergency situations.

● Advised a manufacturer of innovative and exciting exhibition stand solutions in cross-border patents infringement and invalidation cases in Ukraine and Germany, developed a multi-jurisdictional protection strategy together with IP specialists from different countries.
