It is worth saying that the ongoing war of Russia against Ukraine influenced this year's Chambers and Partners Europe rankings. As a result, the editorial team used Spotlight rankings to highlight law firms and individuals who were already included in previous editions of the guide without assigning firms to bands. Also Chambers adjusted their research methods and limited rankings to the most active areas, including M&A, disputes, employment, competition, and IP, and appreciated the importance of pro bono legal work during the war.
